Matric Equivalent Courses
Post-Matric, you can also study Matric Equivalent Qualifications. Matric Equivalent Qualifications are courses that are on the same NQF levels as Matric. NQF stands for National Qualifications Framework.
This framework groups qualification with the same learning experience on the same level. The NQF is administered by the South African Qualifications Authority. Instead of Matric, requirements for some courses can be a Matric Equivalent Qualification.
Matric College offers two (2) ICB Qualifications that are equivalent to a Matric:
Bookkeeping: ICB FET Certificate
Here are the requirements to study this Matric Equivalent qualification:
- Grade 10 or equivalent or
- You must be 16 years or older
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Be able to study through distance learning
Small Business Financial Management: ICB National Certificate
Here are the requirements to study this Matric Equivalent Qualification:
- Grade 11 (NQF 3) or equivalent
- Bookkeeping: ICB National Certificate
- You must be 16 years or older
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Be able to study through distance learning
NATED Courses
NATED Courses are also known as National Qualifications. They are a product of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). NATED stands for National Accredited Technical Education Diploma. The courses include a practical component.

Management Assistant Courses equip students with the skills and knowledge to work in an office environment and assist managers to manage and run a business. Here are the courses that you will study under this programme:
Human Resources Management Courses
