Plan For Your Exams

Know Your Matric Assessments

In order to master your Matric, you must know what it consists of. Matric is made up of the School-Based Assessments (SBA) and the final examination. The school-based assessments contribute 25% to your final marks. The final examination contributes 75% to your final marks. 

You must complete your School-based assessments, as these marks are used to boost your final exam marks. These are the assessments that fall in the SBA: 

  • Class presentations 
  • June exam 
  • Trial exam 
  • Assignments 
  • Tests

When you have completed the School-based assessments, you will have to write your final exam. The marks you receive in your final exam will be combined with your SBA marks and create your final marks.

Study For The Matric Assessments

You can master your Matric by studying. This is the method that will help you pass. When you study and understand, you obtain information that becomes knowledge. This is what helps you answer correctly in tests, assignments and exams.

How Many Hours Should A Matric Student Study?

A student in Matric should study for at least four (4) hours every day. There are many subjects in Matric and each one has its own assessments to be completed. To learn and understand the information in each subject, you must study every day for many hours. This way, you will keep up with all your subject assessments.

How Do You Get 90 In All Subjects?

You get 90% marks (distinctions) in all your subjects by studying hard and smart. If you want a lot of marks, you must study a lot. Most students who receive distinctions in Matric do not get them because they are naturally intelligent, it is because they study hard. 

If you want to get high marks, you must do what other students are not doing. If other students study for four (4) hours, you should study for six (6) to ten (10) hours. This way, you will learn more information and gain more knowledge. Here are a few things you can do to get 90% in all subjects

What Can I Study After Matric?

If you have passed your Matric, you can study at University. You will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree pass to study at university. Your acceptance will depend on whether you meet the requirements set by the university and the course you have applied for.

Upgrade Matric Course

You can study the Upgrade Matric Course and upgrade your Matric results. You are allowed to choose a minimum of four (4) new subjects. This can help you choose subjects that will help you gain entry into the course you want at university. 

When you finish this course, you will be awarded a Matric Certificate. If you have received a Bachelor’s Degree Pass, you can use it to study at university.

ICB Courses

You can study the ICB Courses with a Matric Certificate of any pass level. These courses will educate you about business in depth. You will gain skills and knowledge that are highly required in the business field. This will help you gain employment. Here are the ICB Courses you can study:

You can study NATED Courses with a Matric Certificate of any pass level. These courses will provide you with work experience and knowledge. You will be qualified to work in your profession by the time you complete the course. This will help you gain employment.
