Difference Between a Guest House and B&B
Although the term is used interchangeably, there are differences between the two. A guest house is generally larger than a B&B (Bed and Breakfast). A B&B is usually owned by a family and will have less than 10 people as guests. They advertise according to the number of people they can accommodate and not the number of rooms available. A guest house, on the other hand, will advertise that they have more room, usually around 5 to 6, and will also have staff that will look after the guest.
