NATED Diploma Courses
NATED stands for National Accredited Technical Education Diploma. The Diploma Courses are a product of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The courses were introduced after the Department identified a skills gap in the job market. Here are the seven NATED Diploma Courses that you can study:
- Marketing Management
- Management Assistant
- Business Management
- Human Resource Management
- Financial Management NATED
- Legal Secretary
Note: All our NATED Courses build on each other. This means that you will have to complete our N4, N5, and N6 National Certificate Courses first. You will then qualify to study our NATED Diploma Courses.
ICB Diploma Courses
ICB stands for Institute of Certified Bookkeeper. The Institute is an internationally recognised Independent External Examination Board which offers 4 (four) accredited ICB Diplomas in the following scarce skills:
- Business Management: ICB National Diploma
- Technical Financial Accounting: ICB National Diploma
- Certified Financial Accounting: ICB National Diploma
- Office Administration: ICB National Diploma
Note: Our ICB Courses also build on each other. You will first have to complete our ICB Certificate Courses where you will gain insightful knowledge on Business Management, Financial Accounting, or Office Administration.
Once completing the Certificate courses, you will then be able to apply for a Diploma Course. We will explain it in more detail below.
Who Qualifies For Accredited Diploma Courses?
Here is what you need to qualify for the accredited Diploma Courses:
NATED Diplomas
- Matric Certificate – National Senior Certificate or Amended Senior Certificate
- You must have completed the following levels before you earn your Diploma:
- NATED N4 National Certificate
- NATED N5 National Certificate
- NATED N6 National Certificate
- 18 months of work experience
- Be at least 16 or older to apply
- Be able to study through distance learning
- Understand, read and write English
ICB Diploma
To qualify for any of the four Diplomas that the ICB offers, here is what you need:
Business Management: ICB National Diploma

- Grade 11 Certificate or

What NQF Levels Are The Accredited Diplomas?
NQF stands for National Qualifications Framework. The Framework groups qualifications that have the same learning experience together. Qualifications with the same NQF level are considered to be equivalent. For example, Matric is at NQF Level 4. This means that any qualification that is at NQF Level 4 has the same learning experiences as Matric.

Does An Accredited Diploma Expire?
No, an accredited Diploma does not expire. When you earn an accredited Diploma, you will use it for as long as you live. You can even use the Diploma to further your education or look for employment opportunities.
