Adult Matric
If you are over the age of 21 and never got the chance to get your Matric but would like to, our Adult Matric Course is perfect for you!
It is a comprehensive course designed for adult learners to get their Matric Certificate.
How Long Is An Adult Matric Course?

Can I Do An Adult Matric Course From Home?
Yes, you can! Matric College is a distance learning College. This means that you can study conveniently from the comfort of your home.
Our teaching and learning methods help students overcome geographical barriers when searching for colleges to study at. When registering at Matric College, you can study from anywhere in South Africa.
Matric Rewrite
Our Matric Rewrite Course is for students older than 21 who failed Matric. You can also register for a Matric Rewrite Course with us if you passed Matric but would like to improve in the subjects that you did not do too well in.
Can I Rewrite Matric In 3 Months?
Yes, you can rewrite your Matric in three months. Because you are only rewriting certain subjects and not redoing your whole Matric, it is possible to complete our Matric Rewrite Course in a short amount of time.
Can I Rewrite My Matric Exams Online?
No, you cannot. Although you will get access to online study material when you register to study with us, you will not be able to write your final Matric exam online.
Matric Exams can only be written in one of the exam venues chosen by the Department of Basic Education. These venues are usually High Schools in South Africa.
It is important to note that if your exam venue does not have an exam centre number, it is unlicensed and cannot administer Matric Exams. Your exams will not be acknowledged.
To ensure that your Matric Exams are valid and that you will get an Umalusi-verified Matric Certificate after you complete your exams, you will need to check if the institute you are studying with is legitimate.
Is The Matric Rewrite Exam Difficult?
No, the Matric Rewrite exam will not be difficult if you put the effort into studying for it. Because it will be your second time writing the exam, you will already have a feel for what it is like and the types of questions that you will be asked.
What Is The Difference Between A Matric Rewrite And A Matric Supplementary Exam?
The Matric Supplementary Exam is another name for the Matric Rewrite Exam. It was put in place by the Department of Basic Education to give Matriculants a second chance at Matric. If they failed Matric and would like to pass or improve their results, they will have a second opportunity in which to do so.
Matric Upgrade
Our Matric Upgrade Course is perfect for those who are interested in changing their subjects. A maximum of four (4) subjects can be changed. This means that you can choose new subjects that you have not written previously.
Only those over the age of 21 can write the Matric Upgrade Exam. This is because it is the same exam that Adult Matric students will write. After completing your exam, and after the marking and verification process is complete, students will receive an accredited Senior Certificate (Amended) Certificate qualification.
Will I Be Able To Combine My Matric Results?
Yes, you can combine your Matric results, but only if you have improved.
You will have to pay R141. This is because you will be issued a new, amended, and reprinted version of your Matric Certificate.
Note: The only time you will pay for your Matric Certificate is when applying for a replacement Certificate or a re-issue of your Matric Statement of Results at the Department of Basic Education. Buying a Matric Certificate from a third party is prohibited. The punishment thereof is a hefty fine or jail time for up to five (5) years.
Can I Apply At A University With An Amended senior Certificate Qualification?
Yes, you can! As long as you achieve a Bachelor’s Degree Matric pass, and meet all the other entry requirements, your University application will be considered for placement.
Additionally, you can apply to enroll in any of our NATED Courses that require a Matric Certificate.
Can I Add My Amended Matric Certificate To My CV?
Yes, you can. It is always a good idea to add your Matric Qualification to your CV. An upgraded Matric Certificate will also show employers that you are willing to learn and improve, which is a good trait to have.
