People Also Ask

Matric College is a distance learning institution. This means you don’t attend physical classes instead, you study from home at your own pace. Once you register, we courier your study materials to your doorstep, and you’ll get access to tutors and course experts who guide you via phone, email, or WhatsApp. You complete assignments and exams depending on the course, and when you finish, you earn a recognized qualification.

The easiest way to check is to confirm whether the courses offered are accredited and registered with the correct education bodies. You can verify this through the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) or by checking with Umalusi, DHET, or ICB depending on the course type. A legit college will always be transparent about which bodies recognize their qualifications.

No, Matric College is not registered with the Department of Basic Education. This is because private institutions offering Adult Matric do not need to be registered as colleges. What matters is that the courses are accredited, and at Matric College, all qualifications are properly recognized by SAQA, Umalusi, ICB, and DHET (depending on the course).

Umalusi is the council that accredits institutions to offer Matric and other school-level qualifications in South Africa. Public high schools, TVET colleges, and some private colleges are registered with Umalusi. Matric College itself is not registered with Umalusi, but the Matric Certificates you earn through us are issued directly by Umalusi  so your qualification is 100% valid and recognized nationwide.
