What Courses Are Equivalent To Matric?

Matric Equivalent courses are courses that are on the same National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level as a Matric. Matric is on NQF level 4. This means that any qualification that is at NQF level 4 is equivalent to Matric. Here are ICB courses that are equivalent to Matric:

What Is An ICB Bridging Course?

An ICB  Bridging course is a programme that was originated by ICB for those who wish to study an ICB course but do not meet the minimum requirements of the course programme. 

Your completion of the bridging course will qualify you for ICB programmes. Here are the requirements of the ICB Bridging course:

  • Grade 10 (NQF 2)
  • Grade 10 Equivalent Certificate
  • You must be 16 years or older
  • Able to read, write and understand English

  • Fill in your username and password

  • The entry requirement is not stringent  – The minimum entry requirement to an ICB course is very flexible. Here is the minimum that you will need:

  • Study and work at the same time – with distance learning, you can study and work at the same time. You take up employment offers. If you already work there will be no need to quit your job.
