What Is The ICB POE?

The Portfolio of Evidence is the PoE made for all students taking an ICB course. This PoE has the following assessments inside:

  • Two online tests
  • Three online assignments

Each course has different subjects. In each subject, there is a PoE. You use the PoE to determine your understanding of the ICB course. This PoE helps you gain knowledge and skills.

The PoE is completed in the ICB MACCI. This must be completed before you write your final exams. For each assignment or test, you must receive a mark of 50% or above to pass. When you pass the assessments in the PoE, you gain a certain mark. This is used to add to the mark you receive in your final exams.

There are two types of exams available for the ICB Courses. These exams are online and paper-based exams. Online exams are taken through the ICB MACCI portal. Online exams are scheduled from 01:00 pm to 04:30 pm.

Paper-based exams are written at a physical location booked by you or a training provider (college). The paper-based exams are scheduled from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Both online and paper-based exams have the same effect. To pass, you must score 50% or higher. The only difference between the two exams is that they are written on different platforms.

The above information was appointed by the ICB on April 2021.
