We understand that life happens, and sometimes we have to make important decisions like leaving school or postponing your Matric rewrite.

Therefore, we have designed these two Matric Courses just for you:

  1. Adult Matric Course
  2. Matric Rewrite Course

Adult Matric Course

If you did not get the chance to finish your schooling in High School due to unforeseen circumstances, you can consider completing our Adult Matric Course.

This course will help you obtain the most important qualification in South Africa: Matric. Many entry-level jobs require this qualification. Universities also only accept students with a Matric Certificate.

You need to meet all of these entry requirements to register for our Adult Matric Course:

  • Have a completed Grade 9 report. You may also apply with an ABET Level 4 Qualification.
  • Be at least 19 years old to register.While you can register at 19 years of age, you CANNOT write the exam until you turn 21.
  • Write, read and understand Afrikaans or English. This course can be completed in either language.
  • Be comfortable with studying from home. We are a distance learning college that does not offer face-to-face classes. We do, however, give you access to join our study groups and you will be able to contact our tutors when you need help.

Matric Rewrite Course

If you did not finish your schooling in High School because you were too embarrassed to go back to school because you failed Matric, then you should consider completing our Matric Rewrite Course.

The Matric Rewrite Course allows you to rewrite your Matric in the case you have:

To register for our Matric Rewrite Course, you need to meet all of these entry requirements:

  • Have written your final Matric exam in the past. You need to provide proof, such as a statement of result or a Matric Certificate (failed, incomplete, passed)
  • Be at least 21 years old and older. You may only write the exam if you are 21 or older.
  • Understand, read and write English. This is the only language we provide this course in,
  • Enjoy learning from home. Distance learning education will allow you to study while you work. You only need to submit assignments and write your final Matric exam.

Where Can I Complete My Matric For Free?

You can only complete your Matric for free if you apply directly through the Department of Basic Education (DBE).

Writing the final Matric exam is free, as education is a basic human right in South Africa. However, the textbooks will not be provided by the DBE, and you will not get the necessary assistance when you need it. 

Therefore, we recommend that you complete any of our Matric Courses as we will provide you with the necessary tools to get to the next level.

This will make your Matric journey a lot less daring, and the best thing about completing Matric through us is that you can complete it at home. This means that you do not attend any classes. 

Can I Write My Matric At Home?

No, you cannot write your final Matric exam at home.

Although you can complete Matric online, you cannot write the exam at home. You have to write the final Matric exam at the closest designated venue. All venues are administered by the Department of Basic Education (DBE). This is done to guarantee that quality standards are met and that exams are fair for all students.

Can I Do My Matric In 6 Months?

Yes, you can complete your Matric in 6 months. This is only possible if these factors are considered:

  • You study our Matric Rewrite Course. You can apply at the beginning of the year and write the exam in May/June.
  • You have already completed Matric. This means that you have written the final Matric exam. This can be an incomplete, failed or passed Matric Certificate. 

You cannot complete Matric in 6 months if you are doing our Adult Matric Course. This generally takes between 12 and 36 months to complete, depending on how quickly and effectively you study.

This is how you can split your study time:

12 months

24 months

36 months

Complete six subjects in 12 months.

Complete three subjects in your first 12 months and another three in your final 12 months.

Complete two subjects in your first year, another two subjects in the next year, and two subjects in your final year.

  • Keep in mind that the pace at which you are studying depends on how quickly you learn and the time you put into your studies.

  • We understand that some students are working and studying or are single parents and completing Matric. 

  • Choose the duration that best suits you.

Can I Buy My Matric?

No, you cannot buy your Matric.

This is a common question asked by students because, while it is possible, it is not legal. 

Buying your Matric can lead to serious consequences, such as a huge fine or, even worse, jail time. We suggest that students complete their Matric the honest way, through hard work.

Getting your Matric the honest way is more satisfying than buying a fake Matric certificate.

What Happens If I Fail Matric?

If you have failed Matric you can easily repeat your Matric. 

Here are your options:

If your academic abilities and your Matric Exam results do not match, you can apply for the following:

  • Remark: The examiner with mark your paper from the beginning to end.
  • Recheck: The examiner will make sure that all of your marks were added correctly.
  • View: You get to view your paper. Remember that you can only do this if you have completed the above-mentioned processes.

NOTE:

Remarking, rechecking or viewing your exam paper does not mean that you will automatically get better marks. These processes should only be used if you believe that you should have received better marks.

What Can I Do Without Matric?

If you do not have Matric and have not completed a qualification without Matric your employment opportunities are limited.

However, if you study without Matric you can achieve a qualification that will increase your chances of finding employment.
