ICB Courses
If you do not have Matric, you can enrol in our ICB Courses. These courses are designed by the institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB). The purpose of ICB Courses is to give education to students that are business-oriented. This way, they are prepared for employment and entrepreneurship.

Short Courses
If you do not have a Matric Qualification, you can study our Short Courses. These courses are designed by the college. The purpose of these courses is to provide education to students that is skills-based. These skills can be utilised for business and employment purposes.

Adult Matric Course
You can study our Adult Matric Course if you do not have a Matric Certificate. This course is designed for adult students who would like to earn a Matric Qualification. This qualification can be used to study further or find employment.
Matric Upgrade Course
If you studied Matric before but failed, you can enrol in our Matric Upgrade Course. You will have the opportunity to study using our learning material and improve your results. When you pass this course, you will receive a Matric Qualification, which can be used for university studies or finding employment.
Can You Study Teaching Without Matric?
No, you cannot enrol for a teaching course at university without Matric. You must have Matric with a Bachelor’s Degree Pass to enrol at university. Your acceptance will depend on whether you meet the requirements set by the university and the course you have applied for.
If you do not meet the requirements set, you can first enrol for an Upgrade Matric Course to improve your subject marks. You can do this at Matric College. This is what happens in the Upgrade Matric Course:
- You receive the study material from us
- We have tutors to assist you
- You have enough time to study and prepare for the exam
- You must pass the exam to pass the course
- You are awarded a Matric Certificate when you have passed the course
- If you have obtained good marks, you can use this to apply to university for the course you want
- Please note that your acceptance depends on whether you meet the requirements set
Your last option is to use the Matric results you have to study for our Short Courses. You can choose to study one of our Child Care Short Courses. Through these courses, you will be equipped with knowledge and skills on how to work well with children. You can use the qualification you earn to find work as the following:
- Crèche Manager
- Crèche Administrator
- Au Pair
- Assistant Grade R Teacher

How Many Times Can I Rewrite Matric?
If you are rewriting your Matric through Matric College, you can rewrite it as many times as you can. There is no limit as to how many times you can rewrite your Matric. We will give you different resources to help you pass in time. These are:

What Courses Can I Do In 3 Months?
You can study our First Aid Short Course in three months. You will be equipped with skills that can save lives. These include:
- Management of choking
- Management of bleeding
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
First aid skills will increase your chances of getting employment because not everyone has these skills.
Is There A Life Without Matric Certificate?
Yes, there is life without a Matric Certificate. You can still continue your studies and build a successful career without Matric. You can study at Matric College whether you want to earn Matric or higher qualifications. You will earn qualifications that are good for employment and furthering your education.
