More disruptions

This school calendar brings some stability to the academic year, it cannot, however, be completely set in stone.

There is no way of knowing when our or how badly another COVID-19 wave will hit. It could once again cause serious disruptions for the 2021 academic year.

When do matrics go back to school 2021?

The Department of Education announced that the schools will open on 15 February 2021.

Private schools can open earlier simply because the DBE has no say in the dates on which independent schools open or close.
