To take Agricultural Sciences in high school, you generally need to have passed Grade 9 with a solid grounding in Natural Sciences. For university or college study, entry requirements vary but usually include a Matric certificate with Agricultural Sciences, Life Sciences, or Physical Sciences as subjects, and minimum achievement levels set by the institution.
