The Adult Matric Course is a chance for adults who do not have Matric, to study for it. You can study the Adult Matric Course if you have a Grade 9 or Grade 9 Equivalent Qualification. This is a Matric Course that awards you with a Matric Certificate when you complete it.
Rewrite Matric Course
You can study the Rewrite Matric Course if you studied Matric but did not pass. You will be able to prepare for the exams with our assistance. We will provide you with study material, grade 12 past exam papers and memorandums and our tutors are available. You will have a higher chance to pass this course.
ICB Courses
You can study our ICB Courses if you have a Grade 10 or Grade 10 Equivalent Qualification. These courses are good if you want to open a business or work for a business. You obtain knowledge and skills that are in demand in South Africa. This raises your chances of getting employed.

Can You Get A Degree Without Matric?
No, you cannot study a Degree course at university if you do not have a Matric Certificate with a Bachelor’s Degree Pass. You can only study for a Degree course if you passed Matric with a Bachelor’s Degree Pass. You would also have to meet other requirements that the university sets to study.
Can I Do Level 4 Without Matric?
Yes, you can study for courses that are at National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 4 without Matric. These courses are known as the Matric Equivalent Certificates. They are on the same NQF Level as a Matric Certificate. You can use a Matric Equivalent Certificate to study further or open a business.

Bookkeeping: ICB FET Certificate
To study the ICB Bookkeeping FET Certificate, you must first study the ICB Bookkeeping National Certificate. These are the requirements you must meet to study the ICB Bookkeeping National Certificate:
- Grade 10 or Grade 10 Equivalent Certificate
- Be able to read, write and understand English
- Be able to study through distance learning
When you finish studying the ICB Bookkeeping National Certificate, you will be awarded a qualification that is equivalent to a Grade 11 Qualification. You can then use the Grade 11 Qualification to study the ICB Bookkeeping FET Certificate.
When you have completed the ICB Bookkeeping FET Certificate, you will be awarded a Matric Equivalent Certificate. This qualification is at NQF Level 4.
Please note that even if you have a Grade 11 Qualification, you cannot just study the ICB Bookkeeping FET Certificate. You must first study the ICB Bookkeeping National Certificate. The courses build on each other. Study from the first course to understand the next.
Small Business Financial Management: ICB National Certificate
To study the Small Business Financial Management ICB: National Certificate, it is necessary to meet the following requirements:
- Grade 11 OR complete our ICB Bridging Course (Junior Bookkeeping: ICB National Certificate)
- Be at least 16 years or older
- Be comfortable studying through distance learning
- Understand, read and write in English
When you have finished studying the Small Business Financial Management ICB: National Certificate, you will be awarded a Matric Equivalent Certificate.

Yes, you can do Matric at the age of 21. You can do this at Matric College. You can study the Adult Matric Course if you are 21 or older. You will be awarded a Matric Certificate when you complete the course. Here are the requirements you must meet to enrol for the Adult Matric Course:
- You passed Grade 9 and have proof of your report OR
- You completed a Grade 9 equivalent course (i.e. an ABET Certificate) that included two official language subjects
- You are 21 or older when you write your exams
- You can apply as early as the age of 19 and start studying
- You can read, write and understand English or Afrikaans
- You can study via distance learning
Can I Become A Grade R Teacher Without Matric?
No, you can not become a Teacher without a Matric Qualification. This is because you need a Matric Certificate with a Bachelor’s Degree Pass to study for a Teaching Degree at university. Your acceptance depends on whether you meet the requirements set by the university.
If you have a passion for working with Children but do not have a Matric, you can study for our Matric Courses and gain a Matric Certificate. You will then use this to study at university.
