Re-Booking of ICB JULY Exams

ICB was able to accommodate a large number of students with their online examination BUT there were a few students who were unable to attend the online exams. Therefore, ICB has thought of alternative dates to accommodate these students.

These dates differ for the following groups:

  • Face to face learning
  • Distance learning

1. Face To Face

Students will be able to re-book their exams for any date on the current exam timetable that is hosted by their college.

2. Distance Learning

Distance learning students will have three options:

Option 1

Students will be able to re-book for a NEW special exam series. This will be added to the timetable for the third week of September. Take note of the following:

  • This exam sitting will only be held at a limited number of venues
  • It will only be in main cities AND
  • Will be confirmed at the end of this week

These Are The Dates To Look Out For

  • 20 September to accommodate the date of 5 July
  • 21 September to accommodate the date of 6 July
  • 22 September to accommodate the date of 7 July
  • 23 September to accommodate the date of 8 July

Option 2

Re-book the exam for the October or December online exam.

Option 3

Re-book for the November paper exam.

ICB Confirms Certain Dates And Venues

ICB is still in the process of confirming the dates and venues and when these venues will be available. They are also looking at whether these venues can accommodate the number of students and if they meet the COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.

Matric College Will Keep You Updated

Matric College will keep you updated on the changes that will follow later in this week. We urge you to not contact ICB directly as they will keep us updated.

Will There Be Additional Costs Involved?

Students are now allowed to change from online examination to paper examination and vice versa at no cost, depending on whether this is eligible for a free postponement.

The re-booking of the cancelled July 2021 exams will be at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
