The Crèche Management: Short Course only consists of (3) three subjects. These subjects provide students with the necessary skills to manage or own a Crèche. You will learn everything from business management to communicating with potential clients and potential business associates.

After passing all of your subjects with 50% or more, you will receive the Crèche Management: Short Certificate.

The field of Crèche Management in Human Resources: This subject allows students to gain the basic skills needed to manage and own a Crèche. It also gives students the opportunity to learn about Childhood development and how to communicate with parents as well as staff.

Crèche Management: Short Course Assessments

The assessments for the Crèche Management: Short Course only consists of assignments. You have to complete (3) subjects for this course. Each subject consists of (3) three assignments which should be passed with 50% or more.

Assignments

You will complete a total of (9) nine assignments. This means that you will receive (3) three assignments for each subject, which you need to pass with 50% or more. If you fail a subject you can complete it again, no costs are involved when repeating a subject. After you have successfully completed the (3) three assignments for one subject, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. 

This means that you are ready to receive your next batch of study material. Complete all of your assignments to get your Crèche Management: Short Certificate.

Exams

The Crèche Management: Short Course has no exams. You will only submit assignments via email. You have to pass all of your assignments with a minimum of 50% or more. After completing each subject, you have mastered a particular skill in Crèche Management which you will make use of in the workplace.

You can apply for (ECD) Early Childhood Development funding if you have a Matric Certificate and go through the ECD funding process, which includes making sure that your ECD Facility is safe for young children. This also includes you having obtained a First Aid Course.

No, you cannot do the (PGCE) Postgraduate Certificate in Education with an Educare Diploma. You can only do the PGCE if you have an Advanced Diploma at NQF Level 7 or a Bachelor’s Degree.

No, Educare is not teaching. Educare is education combined with caring. People that work in this industry will look after children while their parents are at work. As an Educare professional, you will:

One Educare Course can take between 6 and 12 months to complete. This depends on how you would like to complete the course. Here are your options:

Option 2: Complete the 6 months theory and then the 6 months of work experience

  • This will be a total of 12 months

Option 3: Complete the 6 months theory while you are gaining your 6 months work experience
