No, you cannot register for the November Matric Rewrite 2022. You have to register at the beginning of the year to qualify for the final Matric exam. However, you can still register at Matric College in 2022 to write the exam in May/June 2023.

Can I Rewrite Matric In March?
No, you cannot rewrite your Matric in March.
Only the following dates are available for rewriting your Matric:
- May/June
- November/December
Unless the Department of Basic Education (DBE) decides to add more dates, the above-mentioned dates are the only times you can rewrite your Matric.
At Matric College, you can only rewrite your Matric in May and June. However, you can apply for the course any time and start your studies any time.

At Matric College, it is never too late to register for the Matric Rewrite Course. We are a distance learning college that allows students to apply whenever they are ready.
You will rewrite your exam in May/June (Unless indicated otherwise by the Department of Basic Education).
How Many Times Can I Rewrite A Matric Subject?
You can rewrite a Matric subject as many times as you would like to. We always advise our students to choose Matric subjects that they:
- Enjoy,
- Have an interest in,
- And ones that they need to gain admission at universities to further their studies.
With our Matric Rewrite Course, students do not have to choose the subjects that they previously wrote. They may add new Matric subjects, or they can change their Matric subjects. The option is yours.

How Much Does It Cost To Rewrite Matric?
It is free to write the Matric exam with the Department of Basic Education (DBE). To increase your chances of passing the Matric exam, you need textbooks and study guides.

What Is The Difference Between A Matric Rewrite And The Supplementary Exam?
The difference between our Matric Rewrite Course and the Supplementary Exam are explained in the table below.

When Can I Register To Write Matric In 2023?
You can register today to write your Matric exam in 2023! At Matric College, you can register to write your Matric any time of the year. This is possible through distance learning. Please find below a list of the Matric Courses we offer:
- Adult Matric – Designed for students who have not completed Matric. Candidates should apply with a Grade 9 or ABET Level 4.
- Matric Upgrade – For students that have completed Matric but have failed, would like to improve their marks, would like to add Matric subjects, or would like to change their Matric subjects. Apply with your Matric Certificate (failed, passed, or incomplete)
Can I Complete Matric In 3 Months?
Yes, you can do Matric in (3) three months if you apply for our Matric Upgrade Course.
This course can be completed in (3) three months if you register at the beginning of the year and write in the May/June sitting.
What this means is that you must already have written your final Matric exam. You can improve the Matric marks that you are not happy with, or you can go from a failed report to a passed report.
