Marketing Management: The NATED Way

The Marketing Management NATED Courses are designed by the Department of Higher Education and Training to help you find employment anywhere in South Africa.

Do You Need A Matric To Study Marketing?

Yes, you will need a Matric Qualification to study our NATED Marketing Management Courses. This can either be a National Senior Certificate or Amended Senior Certificate. It can also be of any Matric Pass Level. This means you can apply if you passed Matric with the following passes: 

If you do not have Matric and want to study the NATED Marketing Management Courses, you can first obtain your Matric through us. You can enrol for one of these Matric Courses

Once you have completed any of the above courses, you get awarded a Matric Certificate. 

Which Subjects Are Required For Marketing Management?

You are not required to have a specific set of subjects to enrol in the Marketing Management NATED Programme. You do not need prior knowledge to study these courses. Everything you need to know, you will learn in the course.

Is Marketing Management Course Hard?

All courses are demanding and require that you study hard to pass. However, studying the Marketing Management NATED Courses is easy through Matric College. This is made easier because we provide you with all the resources you need to study for good marks. These are: 

Tutors 

When you study the Marketing Management NATED Courses, you have tutors to assist you in your studies. They are available from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm on weekdays. You can use WhatsApp, email or phone calls to communicate with them and ask for assistance. 

Study Material 

The moment you finish registering yourself as a student of Matric College, we courier the study material to you. This can arrive in five (5) to seven (7) working days. You can use this to study and gain knowledge. If there is anything you do not understand, you can ask our tutors for guidance.

How Do NATED Marketing Courses Work?

In the Marketing Management NATED Courses, there are four courses you enrol for. There are three Certificate Courses and one Diploma Course. To obtain a qualification for any of the three Marketing Management NATED Certificate Courses, you must study hard and aim for good marks. These courses are theory-based. 

For the last Diploma Course, you must work for 18 months to earn a qualification. The Diploma course offers a practical component. Below, we have compiled a list of how you can complete the 18 months of work experience:   

Follow these steps to obtain the last Diploma Qualification

  • Visit the iWIL website to register your personal information 
    • The DHET has created this website for NATED students
    • On the website, students can find volunteer work where they can gain experience
  • After you have completed your 18 months of work experience, the manager of the company you work for must sign a logbook on your behalf 
  • Logbooks are automatically provided to you (you do not have to apply for them)
  • Please send the logbook back to us, and we will forward it to the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) for review
  • Your Marketing Management NATED N6 National Diploma will be sent to you once the DHET approves your logbook
