ICB Courses

ICB Courses are scarce skills courses. This means that with ICB Courses, you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge that are scarce in the job market. When you study scarce skills, this means that it will not take you very long to find employment.

Matric Equivalent Qualifications

Matric Equivalent Qualifications are course programmes that are at the same National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level as Matric. Having failed your Matric, you can study for a qualification that is treated as the same as a Matric in terms of learning experiences. Matric is at NQF level 4. 

The following ICB Courses are equivalent to a Matric: 

Matric Rewrite

You can rewrite your Matric if you have failed. Matric rewrite or Second Chance Matric is a programme that caters who those who would have failed to meet the requirements of a Matric. It is also for students who would have passed but want to improve their marks. You qualify for a Matric upgrade if you meet the following:

  • Have recently written Matric

Matric Upgrade

You can upgrade your Matric if you have failed. Matric Upgrade is for you if you want to achieve the following:

  • You want to pass the subject/s you have failed
  • Change your subjects
  • Add subjects 
  • Improve your marks

You qualify for Matric Upgrade if you meet the following requirements:

  • Incomplete Matric or Matric
