How Can I Get My Matric Results Online In 2022?

You can get your Matric results online if you visit the Department of Basic Education (DBE). Here are the instructions you can take to access your Matric results

  • Explore the Department of Basic Education (DBE) internet site 
  • Select the button written ‘’exam results” 
  • Click on the (NSC) exam results link
  • Please enter your examination number as requested
  • Personal information should be provided whenever necessary 
  • Press on the search button to start searching
  • Lastly, you will see your results

What Date Will Matric Results Be Released In 2022?

Matric results will be released next year in January. This is the period in which Matric results are usually released. If you want to find out the exact date, you must regularly check the Department of Basic Education (DBE) website. 

How Can I Check My Grade 12 Results?

You can find your Matric results at the High School or Examination Centre where you wrote your final Matric examination. They will have your Matric results, which you can collect and use in furthering your studies or looking for entry-level careers.

How Can I Get My Matric Results In 2021 By SMS?

You can get your Matric results through SMS by sending your examination number to 35658. Please note that to send this SMS, you will be charged a fee of R1.50. Your Matric results will be sent to you once they are available. 

Can I Get My Matric Results With My ID Number?

Yes, you can get your Matric results with your ID Number. You can use these steps: 

  • You can download MatricsMate on your smartphone from the Google Play Store or Apple Pay Store
  • It is necessary to enter your ID number and examination number in order to receive your results 

As soon as your results are ready, you can check them

Where Can I Get My Matric Statement If I Lost It?

If you lost your Matric statement of results, you do not need to get it back. This document is temporary, and it is not as important as your Matric Certificate. However, if you do want to get it, you can use the following method:

  • Register your details on this site: (www.eservices.gov.za)
  • Select this link to download the form 
  • Complete the form and attach the necessary documents 
  • A fee of R55 must be paid, and you must provide proof of payment (access the bank details in the downloaded form). Also, keep in mind that the fee may change
  • The documents must be sent to this address (Private Bag X895, Pretoria, 0001)

How Long Does It Take To Get A New Matric Statement Of Results?

You can get your new Matric statement of results the same day you apply. The Department of Basic Education sends this to you through email.

How Many Subjects Do You Need To Pass Matric?

To pass your Matric in High School, you need seven (7) subjects. Of the seven subjects, you are allowed to pass only six (6) subjects and pass Matric. This is possible as there is a policy by the Department of Basic Education (DBE) that says you can fail one subject and pass Matric

However, you are always advised to pass all seven Matric subjects. Passing your subjects helps you when you look for admission to the university. Good marks in all subjects can get you into university.

How Many Marks Do You Need To Pass Matric?

Requirements To Pass With A Bachelor’s Degree Pass Level 

Must receive the following minimum marks: 

  • 40% in your home language 
  • 50% in four subjects 
  • 30% in two other subjects 

Requirements To Pass With A Diploma Pass Level 

Must receive the following minimum marks: 

  • 40% in your home language 
  • 40% in four subjects 
  • 30% in two other subjects 

Requirements To Pass With A Higher Certificate Pass Level 

Must receive the following minimum marks: 

  • 40% in your home language 
  • 40% in two subjects 
  • 30% in four other subjects 

Requirements To Pass With A National Senior Certificate Pass Level 

Must receive the following minimum marks: 

  • 40% in your home language 
  • 30% in two other subjects 
  • 30% in three subjects 
  • One subject can be failed

How Many Subjects Can One Upgrade?

If you are upgrading your Matric through us, you can upgrade a minimum of four subjects. You are also permitted to choose new subjects to upgrade, this should also be a minimum of four subjects. You are awarded a Matric Certificate once you have passed the Upgrade Matric Course.
