At Matric College, we offer education that everyone can access. 

Whether you are in a different province or country, you can easily study through our college because we are a distance learning college. To apply, you can use the following methods: 

Step 2: Once you have applied, one of our Course Experts will call you. They are experts in the courses we offer. They can help you choose a course that is suitable for your career goals, finances and personal interests.

Please note that you apply, register and study online because we are a distance learning college

Step 3: Once you have registered as our student, we send you the study material that you can use while studying. This is sent to your location. It usually takes five to seven days for the courier to reach your location.

Please note that you do not pay extra costs for this. It is already covered in your course fees. The college will send your study material as soon as you have made your first study payment. 

Step 4: You can start studying as soon as you receive the study material from us. At this point, you are a Matric College student.  

When Can I Register To Start Studying At Matric College?

You can register to study with us any time of the year. We are a distance learning institution, which means we operate online and are available all year round.

Once Registered Will I Need To Buy My Own Study Material?

 

No, you will not have to purchase any learning material. The college provides you with the necessary material.

The Red Alert Form is available on our website. You can use this to contact us for urgent situations regarding your studies. We will call you as soon as possible, to help you resolve the issue.

Who Can Help Me While I Study At Matric College?

We have tutors to help you while you study with us. Our tutors are available from Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 am to 05h00 pm. They are knowledgeable about the courses we offer and will help you understand your course topics better.

Are There Any Courses That I Can Study At The College Without Matric?

Yes, there are many courses you can study without a Matric Qualification. These courses can either help you get a Matric Qualification or a higher level qualification that can be used to start a business, study further or find work opportunities

Here are the courses available: 

Adult Matric Course

If you do not have Matric, you can study for it. You can enrol in our Adult Matric Course to earn a Matric Qualification. You will have to write examinations and earn at least 50% in order to pass. When you are done, you will be awarded a Matric Qualification. 

All you need is a Grade 9 Certificate or an ABET Level 4 Qualification.

Matric Rewrite Course 

If you failed Matric, you can enrol in our Matric Rewrite Course. You will have to write exams to pass this course. If you obtain 50% or higher marks, you will be awarded a Matric Certificate

All you need is an incomplete, failed or passed (but needs improvement) Matric Certificate.

ICB Courses 

You can study our ICB Courses without Matric. These courses will make you a skilled and knowledgeable individual through the scarce skills and business knowledge that you acquire in the courses. 

You can use the skills you have obtained to start a business or find employment

Study one of the following ICB Courses to gain the necessary skills: 

All you need is a Grade 10 or Grade 10 Equivalent Certificate.

Short Courses 

You can study our Short Courses even if you do not have Matric. These courses will help you stand out from other candidates. You will have a wide range of skills that can be used to open businesses or find employment. This will give you a variety of career opportunities to pursue. 

Below are the Short Courses available for you to study: 

These are open-access courses which means that you only need to be:

  • 16 years or older
  • Understand, read and write English
  • Study through distance learning
