How Do I Know That A Course Is Non-Accredited?
A non-accredited course is not associated with any external examination body. Examples of accreditation bodies are, QCTO, DHET and ICB. This also means that non-accredited courses are not listed on the National Qualification Framework (NQF).
The NQF lists all Accredited Courses at their appropriate level. For example, all NATED N4 National Certificates are at NQF, level 4. The NQF is administered by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
What Are Provider Programmes?
Our Non-Accredited Short Courses are also known as Provider Programmes. This is because the college designs them. The courses give students the skills they need to start their own businesses or look for employment opportunities.
What Are The Advantages Of Non-Accredited Short Courses?
- Youn study for a shorter period of time
- Short Courses are more affordable than accredited courses
- You can complete a Short Course while being employed full-time
- You learn specific skills associated with that course
- Short Courses allow you to gain skills
How Do Provider Programmes Work?
With Provider Programmes, you do not write formal exams. Your pass depends on the (3) three assignments per subject that you will write. When you hand in your assignments, you will get feedback as soon as your tutor has marked it.
You should pass each assignment with a 50% minimum mark. At the successful completion of your course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion
Can I Study Online?

Is Distance Learning For Me?
Yes, distance learning is for you. Here is why you should consider studying through distance learning:
- You can work and study – Distance learning education allows you to work full-time and study. This means that you can look for employment when you are studying. It also means that if you are already employed, you do not have to quit your employment.
- You can study from anywhere in the world – This is one of the reasons why students choose to study through distance learning because you can study from anywhere. What you will need though is having access to the internet as you will need to access study material as well as hand in assignments that you will have completed.
- Become a disciplined student – Distance learning education is for students who can motivate themselves. You will study and learn by yourself. You can get assistance from our tutors when you need it.
- Get affordable education – Distance learning education is more affordable than contact learning. Moreover, Short Courses are even more affordable than Accredited Courses.
- COVID-19 free – You will not mingle with other students, tutors and the public. You stay home and you stay safe
