Have A Study Area

Your final examination is not the same as all the other assessments you have completed throughout the year. You need to dedicate yourself to studying for the exam. Find a place where you can study with no disturbance.

Remove any other distractions while studying. For example, you can switch off your phone when you study to avoid distractions. This will help you study longer if you have nothing to distract your focus.

Create A Study Timetable

The school will provide you with a timetable for the final examination. However, you should also have your own timetable which guides you on how to study. Follow this timetable and make sure that you do not cut your study consistency.

Having a timetable is a good way to divide your study session amongst your subjects. You can allocate certain hours for certain subjects. This way, you are on track with all your work

Study Consistently

If you want to pass Matric, you must study consistently. If you study daily, you will have a higher chance of passing your Matric with good marks. You will be able to study various topics and this gives you more knowledge. You will need this knowledge to answer questions in the exam paper.

Submit All Assessments

If there are some assessments that you have not yet submitted, you should submit them. When the exam season arrives, you should only be focused on preparing for the exam. Take this time to do all your assessments. These assessments are also important because they create marks for you that are used to boost your final exam marks

Study With Others

Sometimes studying by yourself can get tiring. Try studying with other students. This is good for you because you can learn from other students. If you are having challenges with a subject topic, you can ask them for help. Working on topics that you find challenging will help you be able to answer all questions in the exam

Get Help

You may need to get assistance from a teacher, tutor or someone in the family who has been in Matric. They can teach you certain topics that you do not fully understand. The more topics you understand, the higher chance you have of passing Matric
