Have you written your matric exams and you cannot find your results anywhere? Have you tried:

• Checking with your school whether they have received the results yet? Remember, matric results are usually released in the week between Christmas and New Year, i.e. between 27-31 December.
• Checking the newspapers to see when results are published? The results for all provinces are published in the local daily newspapers the day after they were made available to schools.
• Calling your province’s Department of Basic Education? When you do this, keep your matric examination number handy.
• Checking for results on the national Department of Basic Education’s website? It can be found at http://www.education.gov.za.
• Registering at http://www.matricresults.co.za? This website requires you to register by sms and to send your ID number, as well as your exam number to them. As soon as the results are made available, you will receive a sms with your results.
• Using the SABC's mobile news service, News Break? By calling 082 152, selecting option 6, and following the instructions to punch in your exam and ID numbers, you can access your matric results.
